The flowers are doing pretty well without much attention from me. I've worked in the beds a couple of weekends now so the weeds are gone. I'll post some more pictures I took this week. Beautiful blooms.
I've had no time for gardening and my poor beds are looking worse for it. Between work, travel, school and taking care of the house, I've just had no time to get out and take care of the garden. My mom wanted a veggie garden this year but if it's up to me, it won't happen. I just don't have the time. After I get back from the Philippines in April, I hope to get some fresh plants in but they will be ones that can handle some neglect. I won't be finished with school for a while since I plan to go on for my MBA after I finish the BS next year so I'm looking for hardy plants that don't require much TLC.
Sometimes I wish I could stay home just to get out in the yard and work in the garden. There is something about getting your hands in the dirt, tending to plants, nurturing them and watching them grow. It seems to be in my blood. Perhaps one day I'll get to spend more time gardening but for now, it's usually just a weekend thing.
The daffodils are almost in full bloom. The cold weather didn't hurt them a bit...hardy little things. I can't wait for the other flowers to pop their head out. It is beginning to look like a pretty Spring.
I just started blogging consistently late last year. I'm enjoying it but finding I've still much to learn. Last year I returned to college to finish my bachelors degree in business with a consentration in management and finance. The plan is go on for my MBA after that.
My job requires quite a bit of travel and I'll be traveling internationally for business for the first time this year.
